# Search

`POST /v1/search`

Returns ranked web results for a query.

## Request body

- `query` (string): Required. What to search for or research. Non-empty, up to 2,000 characters.

- `limit` (integer): Number of results, from 1 to 10. Default: 10

- `published_after` (string): Only results published at or after this time (ISO 8601, UTC).

- `published_before` (string): Only results published before this time (ISO 8601, UTC).

## Response

- `results` (object[]): Ranked results; empty when nothing matches.

- `results[].title` (string): Result title.

- `results[].url` (string): Page URL.

- `results[].snippet` (string): Excerpt from the page, when available.

- `results[].published_at` (string): Publication time, when available.
